Every board starts as one piece of American hardwood. No glue lines, no laminated strips, no shortcuts. It takes longer and it costs more in lumber. It also means the board you hand down in twenty years will still be one honest piece of wood.
HOW THEY ARE MADE
A single slab of black walnut, cherry or maple, cut, planed and hand-sanded to 220 grit, then finished with food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. No stains. No dyes. No seams to fail.
TEN PERCENT, EVERY TIME
Ten percent of every sale goes to Compassion International, which connects children living in poverty with local churches, education and care. That is not a marketing line. It is the reason the shop is called Faithful Woodworking.
